This October, we honor the brave men and women who served in Vietnam and raise awareness of the lasting effects of Agent Orange. Many veterans continue to face serious health challenges because of exposure to this chemical, and it’s important that we remember their sacrifices and support them in every way we can.

 

As Sons and Daughters of the Vietnam War, we stand in solidarity with our veterans and their families. Let’s take this month to educate ourselves, advocate for those affected, and ensure that their stories and struggles are never forgotten.

 

 How you can help:

  • Share resources and information about Agent Orange-related illnesses

  • Support veterans’ organizations assisting those affected

  • Reach out to Vietnam veterans in your community to let them know you care

Together, we honor their service and continue their legacy of courage and sacrifice.



We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of our Wreath Guardian 2025–2026 Campaign!

 

Each year, the Sons and Daughters of the Vietnam War honors those who served by placing live wreaths at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. on Veterans Day and Memorial Day. These wreaths stand as powerful symbols that the service and sacrifice of our Vietnam Veterans will never be forgotten.

 

To support this meaningful mission, we’re offering a limited-edition Wreath Guardian lapel pin as a token of appreciation for your contribution.

All members are invited to join the Sons and Daughters of the Vietnam War for our annual wreath-laying ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on Veterans Day, November 11.

 

This special tribute honors the service and sacrifice of all who served during the Vietnam War and stands as a reminder that their legacy lives on through us.

 

Our contingent will be led by Suzy Messinger, and we would love to have as many members as possible present for this moving ceremony.

As members of the Sons and Daughters of the Vietnam War, each of us plays a part in keeping the Vietnam legacy alive. Our stories, our families, and our shared history connect generations — but we can only grow that legacy if we bring others along with us.

 

This season, we invite you to help our organization grow by encouraging friends and family to join — or by sponsoring someone’s first year of membership.

 

It’s a meaningful way to share your pride and honor a loved one’s connection to Vietnam service.
